NH Ceramics, the holding company of Nam Huat Tiling and Panelling, has obtained in-principle approval for listing on SGX Sesdaq. Overseas Union Bank is the manager, lead underwriter and placement agent for the offer.

NH Ceramics achieved group turnover of $33.2 million and pre-tax profits of $3.2 million for the year ended June 1999.

Nam Huat Tiling started as a small tiling contractor 37 years ago. It also provides technical services to designers, architects, developers and building contractors. Today, its wide range of tiles and building materials are used in residential, commercial and industrial projects. Its participation during the 1970s in public sector projects like the National Stadium, Paya Lebar Airport and National Library helped establish its track record. Nam Huat Tiling is also one of the ten suppliers in Singapore that are pre-qualified as a supplier of ceramic tiles for the building of new HDB flats (standard designs) and main upgrading programmes.

Currently, it operates from two factories-cum-warehouses at Tuas Avenue on land covering 18,600 square metres.
