INTER-ROLLER Engineering's managing director Lim Yee Min has been promoted to chief executive officer, the appointment taking effect on Jan 1, 2005. He will succeed Yap Lem who will continue as an executive director.

Mr Lim, 54 and an engineer by training, has been with the company for more than 20 years. He was the general manager before his appointment as managing director in 2002.
